It’s Full Moon time again! As we reach the peak of this lunar cycle, we are called to pause and acknowledge how far we’ve come, not just in our personal journeys, but in the ways we show up for others. It’s easy to focus on what still needs to be done, especially when current events can make things like social justice and equality feel like an endless effort. But this week, we’re invited to shift our perspective: to recognize the work we and others have done, honor our efforts, and embrace gratitude for the ways we’ve all committed to making the world a little better.
And this isn’t just about personal progress. Change is never an individual effort, it’s the result of countless people working together, showing up for each other, and pushing forward despite challenges. Take a moment to acknowledge the collective effort, the activists and organizers who have dedicated their lives to justice and equality, now and throughout history.
As a queer woman, I like to show gratitude for the activists who protested and fought for my rights at historical events like Stonewall. Especially now, when trans people are being so openly persecuted by our government, I’m reminded of how much the trans community has done for all queer people, and how crucial it is to not let them be excluded from the LGBTQ+ community. They have fought so hard for all of us, and I’ll always fight for them too. Progress is built on the work of many, and when we practice gratitude for those efforts, we deepen our connection to the larger movement. None of us are in this alone!
Tarot Guidance
The Moon card reminds us that clarity comes not from forcing answers, but from embracing the unknown with honesty. It asks us to uncover hidden fears and self-deceptions, those small whispers of doubt that hold us back. Are there areas where you’ve been afraid to fully step into your power? Have you hesitated to speak up, worried about saying the wrong thing? Have you questioned whether your efforts even make a difference? The Moon illuminates the places where we need to trust ourselves more and move forward, even in uncertainty.
The Six of Pentacles shifts our focus to gratitude and reciprocity. It reminds us of the importance of balance in giving and receiving. This card asks: Where are you in the cycle of exchange? Are you showing up for others in a way that is sustainable, or are you giving to the point of depletion? Likewise, are you allowing yourself to receive (whether it’s support, knowledge, or rest) so that you can continue the work without burning out? Activism, allyship, and advocacy are not just about what we give, but about ensuring we have the strength to continue showing up for the long haul.
Astrological Influence
The North Node in astrology represents our path forward, our highest potential, our destiny, and the lessons we are here to learn. Unlike planets, which describe traits we already possess, the North Node points to the qualities and experiences that will challenge and grow us. It’s not always comfortable, but it’s where we find deep fulfillment and impact. Exploring your North Node can reveal how you are uniquely meant to contribute to the collective good.
To understand how you can best step into your role as an advocate, look to your North Node placement. The sign it’s in describes the energy you need to embrace, while the house placement shows where in life your activism, allyship, and personal growth will be most significant.
With my North Node in Virgo in the 11th House, my path in advocacy is about bringing precision, strategy, and practical solutions to the movements important to me. This placement teaches me that effective activism goes beyond passion, requiring sustainability, organization, and discernment. Instead of falling into overwhelm or perfectionism, I am here to refine the messy, build systems that work, and offer clear, actionable solutions to collective struggles.
My strength lies in fact-checking, structuring movements, and ensuring that activism is grounded in truth and efficiency. I don’t have to be the loudest voice in the room to create impact, my power is in behind-the-scenes strategy, research, and sustainable action that supports long-term change. By aligning with practical visionaries and honoring both my energy and my limits, I can advocate for justice in ways that are not just urgent, but enduring.
Questions to ask yourself this week:
How can you celebrate your progress and let go of guilt or imposter syndrome? How can you continue to advocate for justice in ways that align with your energy and resources?
